The Greene County boys track and field team took part in two meets last week, competing at Carroll and Saydel High Schools.
On Monday, April 8, the Rams traveled to Carroll High School, finding success in various competitions. Drew Wolterman found himself first in the 800 meter run, with Isaac Carman taking second in discus and Nick Madsen second in the 100 meter dash. Kamden Kinne placed fourth in shot put and Jack Hansen finished fourth in long jump, Trey Schilling fourth in the 200 meter dash. Noah Hinote was the fifth place finisher in the 3200 meter run.
Relays performed well with the sprint medley team of Trey Schilling, Nick Stream, Nick Madsen and Drew Wolterman finishing second. The 4×400 meter relay team took fourth with Lane Fields, Broc Stream, Gavyn Winters and Noah Hinote running. The distance medley team also finished fourth, with a team of Schilling, Camden Strennen, N. Stream and Winters. Isaac Karber, Camden Jacobs, Crew Conner and Jaden Koller took fifth in the 4×800 meter relay.

The team competed at Saydel on Thursday, taking 10th with 37.5 points overall. Isaac Carman finished second in discus with a throw of 133-05. The distance medley relay took second and 4×400 meter relay team took fourth, with the 4×100 meter relay team placing fifth.
